The rooms are quirky and great however a few niggles. Pillows are too hard, water pressure is very low and the heat difficult to adjust. Hotel plumbing is noisy in some rooms early morning when people start to ablute. However I cannot fault the staff friendliness and painless check in and out. Still a great hotel.

Was given a wooden teaspoon for soup as the server didnt want to walk back to kitchen to get something appropriate as there was peole to serve at bar ( had just brought me the aoup with no spoon at all) also with no signs on table when asked which table i was at when ordering food had to guess where to sit as everyone i chose was told computer aays no

The hotel is very well located, with everything within walking distance. Our room was clean, warm, and relatively quiet, which made for a comfortable stay. We requested an extra duvet and a late check-out, and both were kindly accommodated. The only downside was the breakfast - after five days, the selection felt a bit repetitive.
