We stayed at Puka Park as part of our 21st wedding anniversary road trip, having first stayed there on our honeymoon. The tree hut was beautiful inside and it is in an idyllic location. Breakfast was delicious and it was great to be able to borrow bikes so that we could cycle to the beach and around Pauanui .

Beautiful location, nice room, friendly staff. I suspect that this place is for more agile people than us (in our 70s). There was a long uphill walk to our room. (The staff offered to drive us up in one of a number of golf buggies.) Perhaps choose a room close to the reception and restaurant if you're an old codger like me.
