The price was good, a very warm welcome from the staff. The room was lovely, we had a good comfortable sleep, hot shower in the morning. Air conditioning as well. Then jumped on the Elizabeth line, so convenient.

Stayed here overnight prior to an event at excel. Check in was a bit of a disaster, 3 individuals at check in (2 red t shirts, one light coloured shirt) the 2 individuals in red didn't really seem to have much of a clue between paper lists and online lists names didn't match so initially I was told no booking then man in shirt got involved and found my name within seconds of inputting it to computer. Got key and headed to room, no explanation of where to go, how to use lifts etc, but as a seasoned traveller didnt take long to work out. Room small but perfectly adequate for 1-2 people staying overnight. Air con seemed to be working in some capacity but certainly could do with being cooler at times. Bathroom more of a 'pod' which you step up into but toilet/shower/sink available so cant really argue. TV perfectly adequate for watching , dont think you can add chromecasts or anything but I didnt try so cant fully comment. Plenty of plugs round the room, was a cube to use for plugging in kettle and had some USB ports too so very handy. Hotel perfect for going to the excel, not close to much else except the airport and cable car. Would I use it again, probably just hope the check in people have learnt a bit more by then.

Very Poor Hotel & Bad Customer Service!

Booked a room at the Ibis docklands for a concert at the 02, arrived at 4pm the room was supposed to be ready at 3pm, unorganised and the hotel was dirty. The room was not ready until 5pm which made us late for our plans. I paid £258 upfront, asked for a refund as the room was so late, staff refused. Finally got to the room at 5pm, the room was dirty, the areas of the hotel leading to the rooms were dirty. Extremely poor value for money, refused to stay in the room & left, sent a complaint email and no response after over a week. Would not recommend this hotel! Poor service, dirty, unorganised and ruined our weekend away!

Bed Bugs - Badly bitten and hotel uncontactable to report

I stayed in room 444 on 04 & 05 July. Badly bitten by bed bugs. Tried to contact the hotel by phone when I got home so they could clean the room and prevent other guests from suffering the same fate. Straight to 'hold' music, was on hold for ages, gave up. !!!

Nice and easy to find, only minutes from the DLR, Excel and not too far from the O2. The room was clean, tidy and had one of the best showers I’ve used in a hotel in ages; even mentioned it on check out!
