I would like to formally express my dissatisfaction with the service provided by the hotel restaurant. I ordered a vegetable soup with the promise of delivery within 30 minutes, as I had an external meeting scheduled. However, after five phone calls, the response was always the same: “it’s on the way.” Later, I was met with an unconvincing and rude explanation, claiming that the waiter had been stuck in the elevator for 30 minutes. I understand that delays can happen and logistics are not always predictable. However, the repeated assurance that the order was arriving, when it clearly was not, amounted to dishonesty that caused me harm. I had been awake since 3 a.m., returned to my room to work and eat something before the next in-person meeting, which lasted until nearly 9 p.m. The delay and lack of transparency directly affected my performance, leading to low blood pressure and difficulty concentrating. I request that this incident be taken seriously, as service quality and honesty in communication are essential to maintaining guests’ trust.

The service at the hotel is great and the breakfast spread very good. I especially appreciate the separate allergen food shelf with a very good selection of gluten-free. The beds are also comfortable in true Accor style. The only minus comes from the very poor soundproofing between rooms, I could hear the TV screaming in the neighboring room almost throughout the night and the traffic from the street below. Some surfaces are starting to be in need of a refresh as well, but all bathrooms have been nicely re-done. One would also immensely appreciate a coffee maker/water kettle in the rooms instead of the microwave.

Hotel was under construction. There was no advance notice upon booking or check in. Jackhammering above my room was extremely disruptive. Also, I was given a handicap accessible room, which I did not book, and the shower was extremely dangerous spraying water all over the floor.
