Stopped in Aachen with no booking, and turned up there without reservation. Was easy, and pain-free. Rooms on the street side are also quiet. Rooms are cheap, though breakfast not (free for kids however)

Room is big, shower can be closed, close to the bus station, there is a gym with a steam room. Really a good stay and I will return again. Breakfast could be cheaper.

1) Location: The hotel is centrally located, making it easy to commute. 2) Food: There are many Turkish food kiosks surrounding the hotel. If you need something special, you might have to walk a bit farther. 3) Breakfast in Hotel: It’s acceptably good. Good and helpful staffs 4) Room Cleanliness: Good. 5) Reception: Good temperature, helpful staff. Events: a) I encountered a problem with water leaking through the switch-over tap in the bathtub twice, associated with cracks or a hole in the tub. When turning on the showerhead, there was serious water leakage. I provided a video to the reception. The first time (28th July), it was fixed the next day. The second time (18th August), I was moved to another room immediately. It was a minor issue but could have been handled better. b) There was a power outage in the entire hotel and a fire alarm went off in the next building on 2nd August around 9 PM. I did not receive any broadcast or message about the incident. I had to call the reception to understand what was happening. They could improve by providing broadcasts. c) To join the loyalty program, the commercial gesture for the reward points is a bit confuse.

We apologize for the inconvenience you experienced with the bathtub leak and the lack of communication during the power outage. Please note that the fire alarm was, of course, not planned, and we cannot send individual messages during such an event. The announcement made over the alarm system clearly states, "Please leave the hotel immediately," and is loud enough to ensure all guests are informed. It's not necessary to personally inform each guest, as the priority is immediate evacuation, not the specific cause of the alarm. In this particular instance, the alarm was triggered by a short circuit in the building next to our hotel, which also activated our system. Our main focus in such situations is the safe evacuation of all guests, and we hope you understand that this must be done before confirming with the fire department that there is no active fire.
