Unpleasant experience from beginning to end. The bedroom was old and dirty and there was a colony of ants in the bathroom. The property of the bed sheets was dubious. Stay away from this property, which is clearly not up to ACCOR standards.

generally good except the lack of politeness during check in..the guy at the counter was rather rude and since I'm not French and don't speak the language I was treated like a second class citizen. Location was really good, close to the Eiffel Tower and metro.

Upon arrival, our rooms weren't ready for check in. I booked two rooms, one for me and my partner, and the other for my friend and his partner. I sent an email way in advance asking kindly for the hotel to accommodate us as close as possible. My email was acknowledged and I was told that my wish would be granted. On arrival, the staffs at reception weren’t aware of this request. Also, we had to wait more than 30 minutes before we get access to a room. The experience was atrocious.

Well it was a lovely stay at the hotel. I had a problem before my arrive I tried too chance the day because my wife had an An incident And couldn’t make the trip but I try to communicate with the booking agency but I told that they can’t change the hotel bookings for six nights even if I asked too be pay for the tax charges.

Lovely location and great buffet breakfast. The ideal place for a base in Paris. Loads of resturaunts around and most things within walking distance. The room was ideal for 3 though it was a little scruffy for a top hotel.

I had several issues. Unable to turn down heat, room was hot and humid making it difficult to sleep, things were falling off and the carpet was stained with suspicious fluid marks Reception promise me a fan to make it easier to sleep at night and even after three requests they never delivered Pool was closed also. Many things wrong so I would stay or suggest friends to stay there Will review accordingly with hotels.com and online

When I booked on line I choose a superior room view. when arrived they gave me a standard room, I told to the reception desk I have a superior one a she told me "no" the manager came and talked to her in french and said "give them the standard". I took the keys and when in the room it was standard and low, I return to complain, they change the room for an other in an angle but the room has a very dirty carpet. I decided to not return in this Hotel. I do not recommend.

The location of the hotel is superb for visiting the Eiffel Tower, although not close to any fast food outlets. The lay-out of the rooms are adequate but the mattress on wheels does not match the price. Breakfast was great for adults and kids!

understaffed, disorganised

Arrival was in total chaos. the hotel was full for new year, there were 3 staff at reception at 2 pm on Dec 30th, and 100 people trying to register. Rooms were not ready. kids were shouting in the lobby. only 10 seats are available in the lobby. As a consequence, people were sitting on the floor. It looked like the hotel was not prepared to receive people. the breakfast room was packed every day and we could never have breakfast because of the long queue. this hotel is not to the level of a 4 stars. Prices are at the 4 stars level, but not the employees.

This property is nicely located and a good value for Paris. Unfortunately it is an older property has as such has some limitations. Although the room I stayed in was very tastefully kitted out, the lack of control on the heating was an issue for me. The central HVAC meant there was no room control and my room was kept at about 23 degrees which was too hot for me to sleep well. The beds are comfy and the servicing of the room was good too. The property is kept well and the staff is very friendly, courteous and professional.

We enjoyed our 6-day stay at Novotel Eiffel Tower. Cute decor, very clean rooms, and just a cool place to stay in Paris. Great location. Staff are so helpful.

Even though the air con machine was making a noise to say it was on, the room was really warm, which made it impossible to sleep. I had read similar reviews and for that reason only, I will not stay again. Also I ate in the restaurant, and the service was shocking. There was only two guys looking after around 100 people. I waited over an hour for my drink to arrive and nearly two hours for my food.

There was really good stay in your hotel. Hotel is lokated very close to Eiffle Towel, what is really good! breakfast is ok, but vegatables should be served :)

I must admit, that I was quite disappointed with the hotel stay. I am travelling a lot, and normally never have any complaints regarding hotels. However, here are some of my experiences staying at Novotel which I found suboptimal: 1. My room (2808) had no/very poor aircon, it was very hot and impossible (by construction) to open a window for cooler air, and the aircon even when turned to lowest temperature (5 degrees), did not work at all. The room temperature was around 25 degrees. I mentioned this 2 times in the lobby, who said they would take care of it. First time, nothing really happened. Second time, a small ventilator (fan) was placed in the couch in my room. Seriously? So no change in room temperature despite several requests for this. 2. The TV could not be turned of after turning it on. Impossible to turn it off why I had to vover it with towels to try to sleep. Did not dare to try to turn it on again after that experience. 3. Ran out of toothpaste, asked in the lobby if it was possible to buy some, told it would be brought to the room. Nothing happened. 4. The morning buffet paid for was 2 times out of 3 days without juice (machines empty), no refilling despite kindly reminders to the staff. All in all small things which I would normally ignore, but the number of issues and the complete inability to try to solve them made me wonder if this was an unlucky combination of service faults or if this was the actual standard for the Novotel.
