This hotel is an ideal location for a stop over if you are travelling north to south, easily accessible from the M6 - a nice quiet bar area too.

My son was having operation at the first trust hospital we live in the cotswolds so I was only 4 mins away. Staff great and welcoming. Room clean and just what I expected. Bed comfy.

Satisfied with attentive staff. Unhappy that some quests did not wear masks in the hotel.

Hotel was fine but the water doesn’t flow down the sink quickly and the shower is a bit weak

The staff are so lovely at this hotel It is very clean and the breakfast was lovely. Good location with parking. The only negative is the carpets do need replacing.

Very friendly and pleasant staff. Shower could have been cleaner, and soap containers were empty. I had my own.

Welcome very good friendly staff bubbly and made to feel at ease For the cost of room the facilties are more than average. Ground floor room as requested and was great due to hot weather. Electric car charger available a must for us which is accessible Covid infection control excellent and as we have stayed before this is always a favourite place to stop overnight and rest

Staying here for 1 night with family for a trip to blackpool. Booked 2 twin rooms which were allocated next to each other. Reception staff very friendly and helpful. Got in the rooms and found one room looked like it hadn't been cleaned very thoroughly, during these times you would expect to find no dust on surfaces and the tv remote was full of fingerprints and dust, shower tray was full of dust and hair, the carpets were also full of fluff. The beds were very comfy, memory foam mattresses with memory foam mattress toppers, these were very clean. Would be nice to have a fridge in the rooms, when we visited it was 20°c +, we had some bottles of water and they got warm very quick. In one room the windows opened but there seemed to be another window behind it so very low air coming through. Also when taking a shower the shower pressure is low and no electric fan to expel the steam. The hotel was very quiet, didn't seem many people were here. The bar area was nice to sit in and enjoy a nice cold drink. We all slept very well, like I said the beds are lovely. If we return would love to see a fridge.

I will be sure to mention to the manager of our housekeeping contractors to ensure all rooms that have been vacant for some time are re dusted, thank you for bringing this our attention. I will ask the maintenance team to check the shower pressure is as it should be, as this is not something we usually relieve feedback on, the fans unfortunately run on a very old system that is on a timer. Ibis as 1 budget brand do not offer fridges in the rooms, so unfortunately this is something that is likely to happen, Accor's other midscale brands such as Novotel and Mercure do offer fridges in some of there execuite rooms. The room had a damp smell to it, the carpet was dirty. The shower when first turned on , it smelled like stale water.

Finally managed to get back to Preston Ibis North after over a year of waiting for restrictions to ease! On our arrival, we had a swift and professional check in experience, located our rooms and got in there. Rooms were as expected, superb as ever from the Ibis! Signage for Covid restrictions clearly marked all over to guide us on what was necessary. The differences were that the rooms were not made up unless requested, fresh towels on demand rather than automatically given and in-room refreshments again on demand rather than magically appearing - these little things pale into insignificance given that we are finally back!! With the buffet breakfast, this is still not permissible under Covid but the option is a take away bag full of goodies - you receive a menu sheet in the evening / on check in and complete this with a good range of breakfast items - you will not go hungry, never fear. You may choose to have this either sitting in the restaurant area or back in your room, we choose the former as it is nice to sit out, albeit social distancing of course! Also, you may ask for additionals as you please, the service was superb for this as ever! We have another family gathering in July so on our reluctant exfil and return home, we booked the same rooms for July - hopefully this time, Boris depending, we may be allowed to have the famous buffet breakfast - can't wait!!

All great except that it was boiling and the heating had been left on in my room and the window would only open a tiny crack, so I slept badly. Otherwise pretty clean, comfortable and well located.

I needed an hotel at very short notice as my husband was unexpectedly kept in a nearby hospital due to a complication. The staff were brilliant, really helpful & friendly, Because of Covid the room was a little different on this occasion, but warm & comfortable. The only problem was the wind/rain lashing something outside against the window - but the hotel can't control the weather!
