Very Basic hotel

a very basic/budget hotel lacking simple amenities such as a tea kettle & mini fridge. Room was clean; the size and location was good. TV screen is probably same size as that of a laptop, definitely needs to be upgraded. Reception and housekeeping staff were friendly.

Staff was friendly and quick to help when needed. Unfortunately the cleanliness of the room was very poor. Limescale in the bathroom terribly, lice on the walls, hair on the bathroom door frame and walls. Coffee stains on the table and seems like the room was not vacuum in weeks.

Valued my stay. Location great after a disrupted journey with Eurostar from London. The breakfast can’t be beaten, with such a wide range in the buffet. And for those of us who enjoy travelling my train, having such a great aerial view of the station is no problem at all!

The location is good and easily accessible right next to the Midi station. I got everything I expected from an Ibis hotel. The only thing I didn't like and it was a first for me is the complicated and in addition not free luggage locker system. I believe keeping a luggage safe for a few hours before checkin or after checkout should be free for hotel guests just like it is in all other hotels I ever been to.
