Our stay was incredibly good. My partner had a health issue arise during our stay, called the front desk, and a physician was sent to our room. The doctor was incredible and helped us navigate a frightening situation. The staff at Sofitel was caring and concerned and beyond helpful. I cannot thank Sofitel staff enough for the professionalism they practice. The hotel has always provided us with a superior experience, and this trip once again reminded us of why we return. Many thanks to the staff.

I had one of the new suites and it was exceptional. I’ve been staying at this Sofitel St. James for 20 years + and it’s better than ever. And thankfully has departed from its Mannequin phase.

Canucklehead TripAdvisor review

Had the pleasure to stay at the Sofitel St. James on two separate occasions within the span of about a week, and was looking forward to my stay after a stellar experience last November. I was not disappointed! I won't get into the weeds on this one in terms of detail, only take this review to acknowledge the fantastic staff at the St. James. A warm welcome, a surprise upgrade (thank you!), and cordial and professional interactions with all of the staff. I say it many times, a property can have its shortcomings, but excellent staff and customer service will overshadow these things every time and make me want to return. And I can't wait to return to the Sofitel St. James!
