Central Hotel to bars and public transport with comfy rooms to sleep in. Check in could be improved as took quite a while to get through the process.

I prepaid £260 for a standard double room and the sockets in the room didn’t work, the TV didn’t work. On check out I asked to pay for parking and was told that I should have told them on check-in that I was parking. I told them that their website said to tell them afterwards to get a discount. The response was ‘yeah the website is wrong, we get this all the time. We’ve told management loads of times’. So I was overcharged for car parking £35! The breakfast was served next door at the Novotel hotel and the juice machine had watered down orange and apple juice. I’ve used those machines in other hotels too and not had an issue so it’s definitely the quality of the juice they’re putting in.

Great location in the heart of Manchester. Perfect for an overnight stay after a theatre visit. The room was comfortable and clean and I had a restful sleep. Lovely friendly, helpful reception staff too.
