Not a bad hotel. The room was generally OK, a bit tired but functional. The was only one towel for both of us, which was irritating but we did not bother to report as we were staying for just one night. Reception staff was very helpful and polite. Fine for short term transit visitors.

We neded a hotel near the city center , which had or was close to a car park incase we cam by car and near to Manchester Piccadilly or Oxford Road for rail. We had an easy check in and given a good room on the forth floor at the front. We used the bar most nights and had a lovely pizza one night, great staff at this hotel. I declined the daily room clean as we were only there three nights. We used the fast check out as our transport arrangements suddenly changed , so we left before saying thank you and goodbye .

Check in was a disaster. The individual didn’t find our reservation until we gave him the confirmation. There were issues trying to pay. When we got to the room the carpet was disgusting and bathroom stunk. After a long day of travel I didn’t complain because the bed was clean. The accessible bathroom smelled like nobody has ever washed or changed the shower curtain and the floor was very dirty/worn. The floor is set up in a way you can’t shower without flooding the room therefore no shower after spending 6 hours on a train. Overall this is the worst ibis I have ever stayed in and worst Accor property I have visited.
