I always stay at Ibis/Novotel Ellerslie when I am in Auckland for business as it's conveniently located near the ASB showgrounds and Cornwall Park. The service is always excellent. The option to book breakfast is great, and the food is always very good. Room service is great too, as I am always too tired to go out for dinner after a long day of being on my feet.

I was in Auckland for several days of medical testing, a very stressful time for me. I decided to stay at Ibis Greenlane as it was right next to the medical facilities. The first interaction with check in was very welcoming and prompt, with an acknowledgement of my personal requests. I had my medical testing and while waiting for results noticed that my room key didn’t work, the nice chap at reception got right into it, and in passing I mentioned it while waiting at the bar and the lovely lady who served me gave me the beer for free as a gesture, such a nice thought. Overall from a very emotional and tiring few days I was comforted by the fact my visit was made easy and I felt very welcomed by everyone at Ibis. Thank you so much and I look forward to my next stay with you!
