The first thing I encountered between 3/10-3/13 is that the lock on the entrance door to the street is fixed with duct tape. Apparently, the lock doesn't work, so anyone can walk in. Breakfast consists of thawed frozen bread; it should be freshly baked bakery bread at a hotel that ranks itself with 4 stars. Despite checking in online with the email you send out, you still have to stand in line to fill out paperwork.

Clean rooms but now looking outdated and some visible damages to the hotel (e.g Front door). The fact there is no plug fro chargers or USB port by the bed is very outdated. Breakfast was a very limited choice

Hotel is located near the main station: 10 minute walk from the tracks or 1 stop with the underground, the hotel entrance is right at the stairs if you find the right one. It’s not directly at the station but this way you don’t get the railway noise. Rooms are nice. Bed is comfortable. Shower feels nice (not weak pressure but not Karcher style either). It’s in a bathtub, so may be harder to get in for people with mobility issues. Socket is on the desk, not near the bed, but worked for me. Windows can be opened. 2 curtains, 1 keeps out the sun light. No comment on AC as I visited in winter.

It was not easy to find the entrance of the hotel. The quality of the breakfast was also not what I expected for a Mercure hotel. Rooms where ok, bathroom a little bit outdated.

It is very nice location to go for dinner, bar and sight seeing for downtown. If there is a car park in the hotel, it was the best. because it costed 32 Euro per night. Bathtub in the room is very nice for Japanese.
