I stayed at the Coventry ibis Hotel for a work trip for one night. It was not a good experience as my room was dirty and I had to move rooms in the middle of the night. I removed my original review with photos of the dirty room, only because when I complained the manager got back to me promptly and apologised, and confirmed that this isn't usually the standard of the hotel and that they had spoken to staff. I hope they keep up with cleanliness as promised, as I would not like anyone else to have the same experience with a dirty room as I did!! I wouldn't personally stay again.

The one star was for the clean bed/bedroom.. I travelled with others on a coach trip and everyone I the ibis Hotel said the same " it was like staying in a Refrigerator " it was FREEZING WE NEVER TOOK OUR COATS OFF ... FOOD WAS COLD/ BUFFET FOOD ONLY . DINNER WAS SHOCKING AND COLD.. Staff said they have had issues with the heating but sadly we do not believe that.... This is the first time I have stayed in a ibis Hotel but never again .. ABSOLUTELY SHOCKING.. 😣

We stayed here during my daughter's graduation at Coventry University. The hotel delivers what it says on the tin, a fantastic team with clean, modern rooms with easy access to the city, train station and the university. I will definitely stay here if I visit Coventry in the future.

I've stayed here on my business trip and i want to say that staff were very helpful and friendly. Checking in was quick and easy and when I've gotten to my room it was clean and warm. I had a very good sleep and breakfast was delicious. There is also an on site parking for extra fee which was quite convenient. Overall a great stay, thank you
