Extremely friendly and helpful staff, especially in the restaurant. Nothing is too much trouble. Rooms are well heated, comfortable and clean. Plenty of free parking. Genenerous breakfast and good coffee. Will definitely come here again.

I was here for a work related event and the staff were absolutely superb. The facilities are decent and we were throughly looked after Particularly, Aleksandra was one of the kindest, most accommodating people I’ve ever met. Incredibly personable and went out of her way to look after everybody from our organisation as well as our colleagues from our clients. She welcomed us every morning, made sure we were all well fed and brought us amazing cookies for snacks! P.S. - management should change that “interim” supervisor name tag she has. Don’t lose her

A spacious hotel with good parking. The staff were all very helpful, although some of the systems for serving meals could be improved. The F & B team did their very best. Quality of food was generally very good. Rooms were clean with plenty of space. Storage was v limited: a small chest of drawers would really improve this, and there was plenty of room.. Decor was nice, but some parts were looking tires, especially the bathroom. Although we requested an accessible bathroom, there were none available. Bath seats and grab handles could easily be fitted/ made available..

Aleksandra was very helpful and attentive to make sure we had everything we needed through out the day. The room was a very reasonable price and at a location perfect for our needs. Will definitely be using the services again in the future for meetings.

Although I have not stayed at the hotel, I have delivered training events at the Mercure, Daventry on a number of occasions. There is always plenty of parking availibility and I have found the Reception staff to be courteous and helpful in equal measure. On each of my vists I have been looked after by the wonderful Aleksandra who unfailingly has a smile on her face and makes sure I have everything I need in the training room to ensure a succesful event. If I were scoring Aleksandra in isolation it would be five stars plus! She is a delight to deal with and a credit to the hotel. The reason I have dropped a star is due to the lunch time food offered during this week's visit. I had the last remaining piece of fish which was, sadly almost inedible due to being completely dried out. I should say that prior to this visit the food has been fine.
