I asked for iron and ironing board & a hairdryer on check in on the Friday night. I was delivered the iron equipment and was told the hairdryer was also delivered. There was no hairdryer! I asked for a hairdryer on Saturday morning but house keeping was closed. I asked for the hairdryer again on Saturday evening. House keeping was closed. I rang for the hairdryer again 6 am, 6.30 am, 7 am and 7.20 am. Still no hairdryer ! I stressed I needed to look presentable for work. I I had to request it in person at reception. Whilst having breakfast the hairdryer was delivered to my room approx 8am. I had attend an present at an international conference at 8.15 am. I needed at least an hour to do my hair. However I could not wash my hair or style my hair. I came back to the hotel at 12.30 and check out at 1 pm. When was I supposed to use the hairdryer when delivered so late. Very disgusted that a 4 star hotel 🏨 did not have a basic things in the room. In 3 days attending Paris for work purposes I could not wash or style my hair. Breakfast poor selection for vegetarians .. plenty of bread and pastries but chopped fruit not out all time/ poor selection of cheeses. No other options. Bathroom style awful! Particularly the toilet! No one thought to purchase a hairdryer or provide a solution. Was ignored. No recompense for inconvenience. Overcharged at the hotel Comapred to the booking so had made. Disappointed this hotel is rated so highly.

Bad review of this hotel!

After spending 5 nights at this hotel, I can well and truly say we will not be returning! The hotel room is very basic for what you pay, the bathroom smells, not very clean, yellow stains on the mattress! The sheets are not fitted, so you wake up with them all over the place! Carpets are dirty, had to ask reception twice for our rooms to be cleaned and more toilet paper, as this had not been stocked/cleaned for 3 days! One day we decided to have breakfast at our hotel which cost EUR 39, for 2 people, absolutely shocking breakfast, again very minimal, dirty plates, and generally overpriced for what it was! My advice would be to go to the boulangerie up the road, as you will not be disappointed! Personal experience of mine, I suffered severe toothache whilst on holiday, after long consideration and talking to a local pharmacist I decided it was best to go the hospital to try and get some antibiotics! So we went to our hotel reception for advice, the receptionist (his name was Morlam) repeatedly told me not to go to various hospitals/dental clinics as they would be very expensive! Whilst this was helpful I found it quite patronising and quite frankly a bit rude as I just wanted to go to an emergency room! Eventually he referred me to Vaugirard Hospital (AP-HP), so my partner and I headed there after taking his advice. The drive was around 25 minutes from the hotel, when we arrived, the hospital looked very dark and quite haunting with screaming coming from the hospital rooms. My partner and I looked at each other, and knew that it didn’t feel right. We went into the reception and was quickly advised that we were not at the correct place, and that it was a psychiatric hospital!!! How did the hotel receptionist get this so wrong?! This should be part of hotel staff training to advise tourists where an emergency room is, surely!! We were then advised of another hospital, who were also unable to help us but referred us to a dental emergency room, by the time we got there it was around 22:30, and I was seen by a dentist by 22:45, who prescribed me antibiotics and strong painkillers! So thankful to this dentist as it managed to settle the pain for the rest of my stay in Paris! Overall the hotel wasn’t great, and we were very disappointed with our stay!

Well located.

Clean and good service in the rooms, but several problems with the lift and difficult access to stairs

The room did not have all the Necessities for my stay. For example, I did not have enough towels, there was one pillow on the bed, no trash cans in the room except for one in the bathroom, and while I was in my room, a staff member entered without knocking.
