I didn't like the experience of not knowing or being informed that the bed didn't have a top sheet. When I entered the room, the temperature was very cold, and the heating wasn't working because the central unit was in air conditioning mode. The only option was to turn it off, with no way to heat the room. I had to ask for blankets to cover myself because of the temperature, since there was no heating and there were no blankets in the room. The Christmas decorations were very nice, and the staff was attentive. Everything was very clean and smelled nice.

I arrived at the hotel in the late afternoon. There was a woman at the front desk, and when I gave her my name, she did not ask for my identification. I had to repeat my name several times until I eventually offered my passport myself. She looked at her computer and simply told me I didn’t have a reservation. I had all my tickets and reservation numbers with me, which I showed her, as I had made the booking three days earlier. I looked at her, waiting for an explanation, but none was given. She then left to “check something,” and when she came back, she had suddenly found my reservation. She gave me a form to sign, and I mentioned that I believed I had booked a room with two beds, not a double bed. Later, when I checked my reservation, I realized it did in fact state a double bed. At the time, however, she told me they would add an extra mattress next to the double bed and that I just needed to wait a few hours. I agreed, she gave me the key card, and I went to my room. The additional bed took longer than she had indicated, so I went back to ask about it. Only then did she tell me they would not provide another bed because my reservation did not include it. She had never informed me of this earlier and simply left me waiting for something she had previously agreed to arrange. Overall, it was an awful customer service experience. I will never book Ibis again.
