Had a lovely stay for 5 nights. Staff were very welcoming and especially appreciated the effort they went to to organise a newspaper each morning, so we could do the crossword. Thanks a lot. Looking forward to coming back in October. 😁

We can not thank this Hotel enough for how they treated us through out but especially when our Best Friend's daughters Wedding was cancelled on March 21st a few hours before her the Wedding was to take place because someone from a previous Wedding at her chosen venue had become positive with the Cover-19 Virus that very morning. After a few hours it was decided that that the Bride and Groom could still get married with immediate family so the rest of the Wedding guests were incredibly well looked after with food and drink in the Hotels restaurant at the amazing Grand Mercure. The Hotel had to call in extra Staff at the last minute who all did an amazing job and once the Bride and Groom came back to the Hotel they were clapped in like a normal Wedding and we pretty much had a Wedding reception with speeches etc. The staff were run off their feet how ever they were still outstanding and just gave the very best service that one could ever get anywhere ! The food too was top notch and some of the Chefs were apparently pulled out of bed to come in. We stayed 3 nights and each morning we had an outstanding breakfast as well. There was hand sanitiser placed everywhere and the tables were wiped down very regually with disinfectant. Every single staff member were just the very best in terms of their great service and friendly manner .... while all knowing that they may not have a job for very much longer because of what was happening with the Virus. We can't wait to our lockdown is over and domestic air travel is up and running again as we very much want to return to this hotel many more times in the future. Thank you so very much Jade and team for such an incredibly well run Hotel !

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay and will be back for sure. Only complaint and it's not a biggie but a proper door on bathroom would be better. Doesn't feel very private.
