Very comfortable hotel, lovely bed, great service and good variety for breakfast, for a Brit like me the Bacon needs a bit more cooking. Poor evening meal and cat

On Saturday 2 October we stayed at the hotel. The room was OK albeit very small. However, the evening meal was poor a very limited choice of food and we had a cat that came and sat next to us licking its bottom. This made a mockery of the over zealous Covid precautions. Covid cases in France are now very low and science tells us that Covid can only be spread in a confined space after usually 15 minutes, so mask wearing in restaurant areas is pointless. On sa more positive note the breakfast was good.

What stands out is the very nice and very service oriented personnel in reception and restaurant. The room (suit) was OK/good. Things are hanging loose and room needs to be fixed. What is disturbing on the floor level and in the room is a sharp smell that also goes into your clothes. Arriving another Accor Hotel in the evening after some of our clothes still had this smell. Restaurant dinner and breakfast was OK.

Clean, modern hotel within easy access of A39. 24 hour reception and bar still open at midnight with small outside terrace for drinks. Perfect for a stop over. Beds comfortable, rooms well equipped, gated parking.

Friendly staff. Rooms are updated and clean but a bit stuffy. Beds small but OK comfortable. Quiet facing parking lot. The breakfast is the best part and is available at 6.30. Food prepared and presented in a good way according to COVID procedures. We used this as a quick stop-over and would recommend for that purpose. Suggestions to improve: Air out rooms more thoroughly and/or look into cause of stuffy odor. Sheets are clean but perhaps a little stained (not a big concern).
