We found ourselves completely stranded in the airport with 2 very young children, following the KLM/Schiphol mess. We were greeted by a very friendly member of staff who recognised the stress and anguish we were facing, she advised they had one room left and although it wasn't big enough, she was happy for us to use it to take the children out of the crowds and drama outside. She was supportive and made sure we were as comfortable as we could be, we are incredibly grateful. The room was small, but well equipped and we all managed a good sleep. The place was very clean and quiet. It was nothing more than it needed to be. We didn't catch the lady's name last Sunday around 3pm, but she made a horrible situation easier. Thank you.

Tiny room with 2 beds and shower is ok for me traveling with 2 and 8 years old. but... 230 euros, also aditional fees if you want to check in earlier.. its too much. staff distracted, didnt find the payment and i need pay double (few hours later the found the first payment prove and made refund.

With flight home to Aberdeen cancelled and re scheduled for next day - leaving airport created issues with COVID certificate chose to stay within confines of airport so chose Mercure Clean, safe, maybe inflated rates but OK quiet and clean rooms were basic, no frills TV channel choice really appalling Would use again because of convenience No complaints - great shower. close to gates

My company has reserved this hotel due to a long conexion I did in Amsterdan. When I arrived to check in (about 3pm) there were two female employees at the desk and a guest with the middle age desker, who might be the supervisor or so on. The other young lady was lost watching something in her computer. Nobody realized I was there even though I said good afternoon. After few minutes, the young lady finally talked to me (nobody never said, welcome, how may assist you). She only asked "check in?" Sundelly the middle age employee asked me if I had reservation. After said yes, she replied in a loud voice (the other guest was still doing her check in) that check in starts after 7pm and if I wanna antecipate I had to buy for it. I said to her to check in her system that I had a guaranteed reservation. She made me wait till she finishes with the guest, which took some minutes. When she finally finished, she allowed me to approach to the desk, stating again that if I wanna make check in earlier I had to pay for it. I again said to her to verify her system. When she finally noticed that she was mistaken she never apologized. She only gave the key. I also had right to a cupom for meal and she never mentioned it. I had to reminded her. I stayed there for no more than a hour but I've never felt so unwelcomed in a hotel. No compliments, no smile, no warm greet. Room was ok.
