Well located in City Centre, useful parking

Staff were pleasant enough but I would suggest that your reception staff would be better with further training in hospitality, also it would be useful if reception staff had at least name badges and attend their station and not keep customers waiting which seemed to be a regular occurrence. The carpets through out the building, corridors and bedrooms, need attention with carpet shampooing as standard, for the prices you are charging was not acceptable. We travel extensively through Europe and often staying in Ibis Hotels and standard of cleanliness is substantially better

Hello I arrived at 7.30 on a Sunday evening - hungrey and thirsty - and asked on checking in about eating in the restaurant/bar area. I was warned that a big group was coming in at 8pm so I said I'd take my bags to the room and come straight back down which I did. Arriving at the bar at 7.40 I tried to order some food but was told the kitchen was closed. How very frustrating. The barman was very apologetic - but couldnt do anything about it - but did give me a drink on the house to compensate. To add insult to injury the first pub I tried had just finsished serving food by the time i got there - so i gave up and went to Sainsbury's and ate in my room.

We booked room with 2 single beds. But the beds were so small that we could have fallen down during sleep. The toilet is so small.

although it was not even a hot day the room was incredibly hot, no air even with the window opened and it only opens about 4 inches and we even kept the bathroom door open and kept that window opened and therefore as we were on the main road we had all the road noise and drunk people screaming on the street all hours. we barely got 2 hours of sleep it was so hot and noisy AND the rooms are way too small for 2 people. when you sat on the toilet, you have to sit sideways. The staff were lovely as was breakfast but the hotel was was not nice. beds too were very uncomfortable. Sorry would never stay here again or suggest it to anyone!
