Before we went, my friend emailed the hotel to explain it was my 30th and asked if there was anything they could do to make it special. I done the same for him in a different hotel in Edinburgh last year and they were fantastic. This hotel instead ignored the email and put us in the smallest room I have ever stayed in with an absolute rubbish view. The bathroom was tiny. We were barely able to fit in and out of the shower ! We didn’t have a kettle either which normally you get when staying in hotel rooms. On arrival, we were told our room wouldn’t be ready for 2 hours. I paid to store my luggage and went out for a walk and a bite to eat. Around 40 minutes later we came back and miraculously our room was ready. I think they tell you it’s not done so that you pay to store your luggage personally. However, we couldn’t fault how beautiful the reception, bar and restaurant area was. It is in a good location with plenty of restaurants nearby. It’s not a far walk from the Eiffel Tower either. There is a Metro station not too far also. I wouldn’t necessarily stay here again but would recommend just based on location.

We do our best to respond within 24 hours, but sometimes we just can’t keep up with that. We understand your concerns about the size of the bathroom; our rooms are designed to meet Ibis standards, especially in Paris where space is often limited. About the kettle, just so you know, we don’t provide tea and coffee in the standard rooms, but our comfort rooms are equipped with a Nespresso machine. I also regret the confusion regarding the availability of your room; it is indeed available from 2 PM. Depending on departures, it can sometimes be tricky to meet all arrival requests. I want to assure you that we don’t hold guests back to charge for luggage storage. If you did pay for storage after 2 PM, please contact me directly with details about your stay so we can process a refund. Amazing hotel to stay at in Paris

Me and my boyfriend visited for our 2 year anniversary and they decorated the bed with petals in a heart. I would recommend adding a description if you’re there celebrating an occasion. The room had a view of the Eiffel Tower which was beautiful to watch when it sparkled at night. It was in a great location with a minute walk to a metro station. It had lovely restaurants around such as Piou and Le Royal Cambronne which we visited for dinner on the two nights we were there. It was lovely and clean and the staff were lovely. We didn’t hear any noise from others. The bed was comfy. The bathroom was small but had everything you needed. We didn’t have any breakfast at the hotel so I can’t give any review on that. We paid for an early check in which I’d recommend if you get in earlier in the day else you would have to carry your bags most of the day. It was great value for money and I would 100% recommend and would happily go back if I was in Paris again.

Great location. Staff very friendly but rooms tiny! We had a twin room thankfully weather was dry so didn’t have to spend much time in the room. Shower room very cramped .

BED BUGS ‼️‼️‼️⚠️⚠️⚠️

My family and I stayed for 3 nights at the end of August in 3 rooms in a row. The rooms were adequate, but I agree with other reviewers - the bathrooms are ridiculously tiny and the rooms hot. My daughter found bed bugs crawling on her sheets early on the second morning. On closer inspection there were more under the mattress and a dead one on the floor. Although we understand this has been a problem in Paris, the way the management have handled this has been TERRIBLE. They said they could offer no refund and we would have to speak to the hotel’s insurer. I would have thought an immediate refund would have been a given, but no… have now sent numerous emails and no response from anyone since 2nd September, despite them promising their insurance company would be in touch and initial apologies. We’ve spent so much time and effort trying to decontaminate our belongings and still waiting for any sort of compensation for the significant costs we have incurred - not to mention the psychological impact and ruined holiday. This entire situation could have been handled by Ibis so much better. We haven’t left a review until now as I really hoped they’d sort it out and wanted to give them a chance, but writing this in desperation

We paid about £600 for four nights including breakfast for 2 people. The first room we were booked into had not been cleaned and was left dirty with last people's bedding and rubbish. We complained and got moved to another room on the same floor which had a better view and was clean. The room sizes are small and the single beds are short and narrow so if your over 6ft or larger size be aware. Breakfast was fine usual ibis breakfast.
