Tiny rooms but decent hotel

First thing to understand is to manage your expectations Ibis is a travel lodge or holiday inn style/quality hotel so don’t expect too much The hotel itself is decent enough, the morning buffet style breakfast has everything you would expect but not a massive choice selection, coffee not to my taste but take out cups available which is nice if you did like it The bar is a very nice place to sit & relax with pleasent staff and nice wine Rooms are what really let this place down They are tiny (or at least mine was) No tea/coffee making facilities, no fridge, no wardrobe (there is a shelving unit with rail for hangers) The bathroom is microscopic, if you are a large person going to the toilet would not be comfortable at all Location wise it is 20 mins away from the Eiffel Tower (walking the shortest route), 45 mins from notre dame and an hour from the Louvre There is plenty of restaurants within close walking distance which is good but if you want to be close to the famous attractions in Paris I wouldn’t recommend staying here (unless you like lots of walking) Overall I had a pleasent stay here as I did a lot of research and knew what to expect. Just because I have now been to Paris I know where the better locations are for somewhere to stay so I will probably not return

The hotel is really lovely. We stayed there for 4 nights. The room was smaller than expected however it worked for my daughter and I. The bathroom was tiny however it was clean. The staff was really lovely and helpful. We needed more towels and got them straight away. Our bed was done everyday. Again, staff was lovely and very polite. We had breakfast there once. We thought it was a bit pricey hence we ate somewhere else. The hotel is ideally located. 20 min walk from the Eiffel Tower, 10 min from UNESCO. 3 min from Metro Cambronne. Many restaurants around to eat from. The hotel has a brasserie which we did not try. The bar was brilliant. The staff was friendly and helpful. We had bites to eat there and it was tasty. I would highly recommend this hotel.

Terrible customer service, room cleaning was also below standards and size was tiny not even room for baggage. Some days there was no hot water on the room. Water dispenser was broken. The only thing that was ok is the breakfast. Never coming back

Really nice hotel. It’s right by lots of bars and cafes. The reception staff are really helpful and lovely. Bathroom a little small but it’s perfectly ok for everything you need to do and the shower is an ok / normal size. We wasn’t in the hotel much but we had a double room and the beds where comfortable. The heating / air con did not seem to work. And the child lock on our window was broken which let the giant window open up like a door so not safe for small children at all.

We stayed here 22nd Sept till 27th Sept. The hotel was easy to find on google maps as we were driving from Vichy. I went to check in and find out where the car park was while my husband waited in the car outside. We parked the car which was very secure under the hotel and made our way to our room (259) Everything was spotlessly clean. The room was small and I agree with other reviews the bathroom is tiny but was adequate for what we needed and that was literally just a cheap (ish) hotel for sightseeing in the city. We did not spend much time in the room at all. However, when we were in the hotel room there was a lot of noise from the cleaners talking and shouting at each other first thing on a morning. So loud!! We were right near their meeting room. This happened every morning 7am ish so don’t expect a lie in, and on the morning we were checking out they didn’t start till 9/9.30 am but we were up early to check out that morning anyway! My husband did go out and shout back at them to tell them to be quiet or to at least close their meeting room door and she was very apologetic. We only ate at the hotel for breakfast once and paid extra for this. The guy said card only and we said no we have cash and said it doesn’t matter and walked away and then he shouted well you can pay cash at reception so that’s what we did! It was quite basic. There are plenty of places to eat outside the hotel which we much preferred and were cheaper. The hotel bar was OK for a drink or two before bed. One night there was a karaoke on so not sure if this is a regular thing that they may have on themed nights. Overall a great stay for location and easy access to all city sights.
