From check-in to checkout, our experience was marvelous. We would come back to Dijon just to stay at this hotel. On check-in, we asked where the gym was and were given a personal tour of how to get there. On checkout, we asked if we could have lunch in the garden and were ushered to a table; our checkout was put on hold until we could conveniently charge our lunch to the room. And so many other small queries on our part during our stay were met by incredible personal attention from staff with a clear desire to please. The service was luxurious. The room was large and very comfortable. It was quiet with a lovely view over the interior garden. We were there during an intense heat wave; the air conditioning was superb. And the garden! Sereen and cool even in the heat wave. It was a lovely spot for drinks in the evening, and for all meals. The hotel has an excellent location. 10 minutes walk from the train station, just on the edge of the historic area of Dijon,and easy walk into neighborhoods of Dijon to get a sense of daily life (whre we found a great neighbohood restaurant with a terrace for dinner ). If staying in Dijon, I highly recommend the Grand Hotel La Cloche Dijon. It was our first experience with an MGallery hotel; we will be looking for them in other cities in the future.
