The Mgallery Grand Hotel La Cloche & Spa is a really nice place to stay. We stayed there for 2 nights. We were welcomed by a professional receptionist. We booked for a Superior room which is nice decorated and modern. Our room had a nice balcony with a beautiful view of place Darcy and its garden which is still very quiet because of the double window. The nice room and the bathroom were very clean. It is well arranged modern and classy. The only negative point is that some furnitures were a little damaged by time wear. The breakfast is complete and tasty. Waiters are very effective and smiling. We had a diner at the hotel’s restaurant which here again, is a nice place. The value for money is pretty good as the food was very tasty. The staff was also very effective and welcoming. We enjoyed the modern and trendy bar of the hotel which propose a large choice of food and drinks. The 3 persons of the staff who where working on Saturday night (October 17th) were very professional, smiling, friendly and offers real 5-star service. Thanks to them, sorry I didn’t get their names. Also, we booked for free for 45 minutes at the hotel spa which contains a countercurrent swimming pool, a multisensory experience shower and a sauna which are enjoyable. It is a very nice place because of the the old stone vaults. Unfortunately, we haven’t been told when we booked for it, that the reservation of the spa didn’t mean we would be on our own in it. So we were a bit disappointed when someone else came into the sauna with us as it’s a small area (where you don’t wear a mask and can’t have social distancing for covid) and as we were expected to be completely alone there for 45 minutes. We had a massage which was very well done and pleasant. A truly relaxing moment, thanks to the two ladies who were very welcoming, smiling, professional. During our stayover, the room was perfectly and fastly done so thanks to the maids. Finally we would say that the Grand Hotel La Cloche is a very nice place to stay, ideally located in the center of Dijon, welcoming and classy where everyone is always ready to help. It was a nice getaway.

We stayed because we had a pleasant memory of our last visit to the hotel. The room was comfortable although the bath shower/design was a little odd, with much water going on to the floor. The staff were impeccable in their attitude and helpfulness, especially with the Covid restrictions in force. What was very disappointing was that because of a function the dining facilities were unavailable and it was impossible for residents to get an evening meal, with only limited options available at the bar. This could have been mentioned when I booked the room so that I could plan some alternatives, but it was not and of course it was impossible to make other arrangements outside of the hotel on the night at such short notice.

The entrance and the room are good. The dinner was not good; you don't get value for money. Thinking that the name of La Cloche is enough for your quests is not enough any more; you have to deliver quality and forget the arrogant attitude. During breakfast the personnel was with 4 of them talking in the middle and forgot all the rules; i could not pass with my plate and had to wait until they had stopped talking. On the buffet everyone had to take the same spoon for the scrumbled eggs and that's not safe. In other 5 star hotels you tell at the buffet what you like and they put it on the plate. I did not feel safe and comfortable.

The hotel looks nice from the outside, reception is fine and the garden comfortable to sit and relax. The personnel is friendly and breakfast was fine. However, we rented a Deluxe Room at a rate well above EUR 300 / night and from a 5-Star Hotel I expect another standard as the one offered. The rooms do not look anything like in the pictures online and are well „worn“ and very outdated to say the least. Damaged things are not acceptable on this level and the rooms should structurally be maintained much better. The thick carpeting does increase the discomfort - who knows what is living in there! So please, Accor Hotels, invest some money and bring your rooms in the Grand Hotel in Dijon up to 5-Star standard. Besides that - beautiful city, great food and wine!

Stayed one night and despite the hotel not being full was given the worst possible room - 302. Not a 5 star quality room - absolutely tiny with only one chair/seat so really only suitable for one but sold as a double. Worse, the housekeeping was poor. The rest of the hotel is pleasant so in an adequate, well cleaned room, it would have been a nice place tp stay.

The hotel is located in a nice area very close to the old city centre. It was clean. The reception was friendly and attentive. I had a problem with the coffee machine I called the reception and they sent someone to fix it within 3 minutes, impressive. Breakfast variety was ok but the quality is very poor. The breakfast staff were also not so friendly. It was definitely not a 5 stars stay. I expect different level of service quality and design with 5 stars rating.

Everything was perfect. Staff were brilliant, great parking on site (even for our big car!), lovely garden area to enjoy afternoon drinks and breakfast. Every single staff member that we encountered was fabulous and went above and beyond always (the receptionist who lent me his personal phone charger, the barman who called every restaurant in town trying to get us a reservation - we really should have booked the hotel restaurant but left it too last minute and they were already full) we will definitely dine at the hotel restaurant next time, it is such a great spot.

Good location, charming staff and lovely gardens. We enjoyed our stay. The breakfasts and bar snacks were good. Unfortunately even with 24 hours notice we could not get a table in the restaurant for the nights of our stay. We were pleased by the staff who were unfailingly helpful, although in comparison with previous visits we felt that there were fewer people on duty, and that they were coping well in the circumstances. Our room was stylish and comfortable.

We really enjoyed the room. Comfortable and modern, organised with care. Breakfast was pleasant in the garden but the service was average We were surprised to find it a buffet during the current time.

Used the hotel on a stop-over visit traveling back from southern France. It is a perfect location for visiting Dijon. The rooms are modern and elegant. Staff was helpful though reception was a little bit understaffed. I particularly liked the beautiful courtyard - a perfect location to sit and have a drink or have dinner on the terrace of the restaurant.

Location and service are excellent. Rooms are good, but the hotel can use an upgrade. A lot of dark colors used, I prefer lighter ones.

In general the experience was average. The entrance of the hotel is not well indicated. Nobody at the door to help you with your luggage. The room was damp and despite the fact that the hotel was far from being full we were put on a room on the street side just on top of the kitchen (thank you for the nice smell). Poor and expensive breakfast. I undesertand it’s Covid but it doesn’t mean that you should pay for a 5 stars to get a three stars.

We do have a doorman to assist ours guests, we are sorry to read that he was not present when you arrived, and that the reception team did not offer you his assistance. Regarding the smell, we do not have rooms directly above our kitchen, our kitchen is located in the basement of our building and does not have any opening towards to the street, but we are sorry that these smells interfered with your stay.
