We had a lovely family stay at Novotel Southampton. The location is very convenient, and the rooms and facilities were comfortable and well suited for a family trip. Unfortunately, due to a short stay and busy days, we didn’t get the chance to explore and use the pool or the gym. What really stood out for me, though, was the staff. Every member of the team that I encountered was personal, welcoming, and always smiling, which means a lot as a guest. That level of genuine hospitality is what makes the difference between a good stay and a great one. I’ll definitely be back, as there’s still a lot to explore in the area—especially in warmer weather.

Room was lovely and staff great. Breakfast was good. Only issue was heat in the bedroom. Too hot and had to have windows open to try and cool down so was then noisy. Otherwise great trip

The room needs up-dating, red stains on the carpet and the walls in the toilet are not aesthetically pleasing plus there is no sink so constantly wiping the door handles. Drain smell emanating from the sink - reported to reception. Does not match up with previous experiences of Accor hotels. Lobby was clean and attractive.
