Novotel Paris La Défense Esplanade 4 estrelas

Extremely poor service we are staying at room 904 / 906 / 908 , AC is not working since yesterday called several times, towels not available in room , we are here for another 3 days was worst decision to choose this hotel doesn’t recommend at all , no one listens for any complains

We had a very nice stay at the Novotel! The room was great on the 12th floor with a fantastic view over Paris. Check-in went fluent and the receptionist was very friendly. As we arrived quite late we decided to have dinner in the Greem Restaurant. Even if it was busy on Friday evening, the waiters were very attentive! Here goes my special Thanks to Christophe who went the extra mile to make us some very tastefull Mocktails! Yummi! Breakfast was also good, but you should know that this is a business hotel, so it's always very busy during the week. Staff there is also very friendly and helpful. Thanks to Amina for taking special care! What a lovely Person. We will definitely come back to the Novotel.

This is an outstanding base if you are attending an event at Paris La Defense Arena! We stayed here for the Bruce Springsteen concert. It is an easy 20 minute or so walk in a pedestrian mall to the Arena. Try to get a room on the 12th floor or higher with a super view of Paris including the Eiffel Tower and the Sacre Coeur in the background. The staff is wonderful, especially the kind receptionist who gave our daughter a very nice stuffed animal as we left!

The rooms in this hotel look quite old and are a but different. As you walk in the door there is a toilet and then after the toilet is the bathroom. If you like can close the door from the toilet to the bathroom . Then comes the bed and it was comfortable. The only let down was that the room was warm , but when tried to turn the a/c down it still was warm , then rang reception to see if they could help and they advised that the a/c was still for winter so it would stay warm and would not change it. Would I return again don't think so.

The Novotel Paris actually quite a nice hotel right on the banks of Seine with beautiful views of the Eiffel Tower and Sacre Cour from some of the higher floor rooms, which truly is a huge bonus! The rooms are quite spacious, and the fittings are very decent. In fact our room had a bath tub which is a definite huge plus! The WC was separated from the bathroom which was quite a nice touch. The tube station is literally about a 3 minute walk, say roughly about 50 meters from the hotel, and you can use the entire Paris metro network to go wherever you want to. Direct trains would take you to the Louvre, and magnificent views of the Eiffel tower can be had from your room or take the tube down to Trocedaro with one change only. Direct RER trains to Versailles is just a stop away! Breakfast is just about OK, and certainly this is one aspect which I think Novotel and Accor hotels could have done much better. More like a 2* breakfast. Choice is a quite limited but the croissants were fresh and tasty. The chilled sparkling water dispenser in the lobby was very nice! Where it all falls down is at the level of service. We had a wonderful experience while checking in by the reception staff, who gave is a lovely room, but, we did face very rude behaviour, that bordered on abusive, that it ever has been my experience anywhere in the world from a bar stuff member. I actually wrote an email detailing it to the manager. I hasten to add that this is this one staff member who was consistently rude to us whereas the rest of the staff of the hotel were exceedingly nice, polite and helpful. Novotel hotel would do well to sort this issue out urgently
