I choose the hotel because it is near Siemens, but I would not come again. The check in process was extremely bad: at 6pm it took us 45 minutes to get the room we already booked. There was only one staff member processing the guests and it took her very long. Usually there is no need of paperwork if the hotel has the booking, but we had to fill out a paper form and sign. We paid by credit card and we could not get the invoice because she said to come later she will do when she has more time. Not really in a friendly way, very strange. Since the hotel is not a budget option, I would expect a better condition of the lobby and common areas. The room inside was fine, but the way to the room is like being in an abandoned motel.

I book with Accor quite often and have stayed at this Ibis 2 years ago as well, but the experience this time was not to the same standard. We booked a refurbished room and while it was ok, it was also very overpriced in my opinion, as it is clearly all IKEA furniture, quite noisy, and not super central, while parking does need to be paid for. The bed itself is good and comfortable and the renovated bathroom is signficantly better than the "older" one, but still not worth this amount. This wasn't where the negative experience came from though. While all minor things, the below did add to a negative overall experience. When checking in, we were greated with "Name?" and the friendliness didn't get much better after. The room itself didn't seem very clean, with stained water cups, and toothpaste splashes still on the mirror. We booked for two and while getting ready for bed, we realized there was no second blanket or towels for 2 people. When dressing up again and going back to reception we got handed a second blanket and towels by a very annoyed receptionist without any apology or other word, saying they are only trying to be an eco-friendly hotel (which I don't get when we book for 2 and have only 1 towel and blanket). On the second day, we wanted to use our Welcome drink from the Membership App and just heard this wasn't possible, because there was no one staffing the bar at that moment (8pm) while it should have been open as far as we were aware. While this can happen and is not an issue at all, there was no apology or solution offered, we were just sent away and asked to come back the next morning (which is not very "Welcoming" for an offered "Welcome drink"). The second day, the second set of towels were missing from our room again. Overall, and while knowing very well to expect a different level comparing from an Ibis compared to e.g. a Mövenpick, this was really not the level of service I'm used to with Accor in general (Ibis included). A lot of these minor things would've been fine if only the staff working at that moment was a bit more friendly and helpful.
