The horrible stuff members ever. I have stayed at this hotel many times, but during my last visit, I experienced an extremely unpleasant situation at the hotel restaurant. We had purchased an expensive bottle of champagne and wanted to enjoy it in our room with proper glassware. The receptionist told us we could get glasses from the hotel restaurant. When we went upstairs and politely asked for glasses, the restaurant staff were very mean from the very beginning. They spoke to us very rudely and immediately started offering us paper cups, even gesturing dismissively as if telling us to leave. I explained the situation and said we didn’t want to drink expensive champagne from paper cups. I also suggested that they could charge our room for the glasses in case of any damage. However, they continued being rude and told us — almost shouting — that they wouldn’t give us any glasses and we should leave. I pointed out that they were being extremely rude and that such behavior was unacceptable, but they just responded in a mean and careless way. Their attitude made us feel completely unwelcome, as if they had no interest in helping us or even speaking to us. It was absolutely disgusting. I had booked this hotel around ten times before. Although there were minor issues in the past, overall, my impression used to be positive. But today was just terrible! I went back to the reception to explain what happened. The staff member went to get the manager, but the manager refused to come out and speak to us. This says everything about the hotel. Absolutely awful experience. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone. It felt like I hadn’t paid for my room, but was instead being allowed to stay here as some kind of favor.

We had the worst experience staying at this hotel and will never stay there again. It completely ruined our Paris experience. The twin beds in the double bed room were hard as stone and impossible to sleep on. We were told we could not get another room the first night. I had to beg for extra pillows and a blanket just to sleep on the floor. That night caused me to have severe back and neck pain for the rest of my trip. We were begrudgingly moved to a single bed room with a softer mattress on the next day and told it was the only one available (yeah, right!, they just didn't want to upgrade us), but it was a handicapped room next to the elevators with broken everything (lights, outlets, sink drain, side table, etc.) and no shower curtain so the entire bathroom gets soaking wet when showering. Oh, and the breakfast was terrible... very low quality, especially for Paris. It was typical American hotel food (giant vat of fake scrambled eggs and bacon, cheddar cheese slices and sour bread) that I could get for free in the States at any Hampton Inn or Holiday Inn Express. Honestly, I expect a lot more for a Paris hotel that charges over $200 per night. Very disappointed!

Brilliant location, friendly staff and would definitely recommend it anyone who would like to stay so close to Montmartre, we had a fantastic view of the Sacré Coeur and a short walk to the Moulin Rouge area. We didn’t have breakfast but enjoyed a drink in the outside terrace.

Extremely disappointing experience The staff was unprofessional ( Terrible, terrible staff,) and the level of service was shockingly poor and absurdly bad. This hotel does NOT live up to a 4-star rating by any standard. The rooms are simply so worn down,and It is, without a doubt, the worst hotel I have ever stayed at. I strongly advise others to avoid this property. I am genuinely surprised by the lack of basic hospitality and by the extremely low level of service by the staff working there during my stay. I’ve never experienced anything like it

After my 24-hour flight from Australia, feeling a tad tired, I walked into the hotel to be met by three people behind the reception desk. It took 20 minutes to locate my booking, and determine room availability (I had paid extra for early check-in as it was 8:00 am). There is an urban mythology of French contempt for customer service. However, the three behind the counter appeared to have been educated at the Fawlty Towers Institute for Hospitality. My room was basic but fine. Went down to breakfast. I was told that I did not have 'permission' to charge the breakfast to my room. Back down to reception where I was told that I would have to pay 150 Euros to cover extras. No problem. Then breakfast occurs. The place was like a school canteen. Basic food options. The space is cramped. The place heaving with guests. The following two mornings I faced the same issues. No permission to enter the restaurant. Back down to reception. Same lousy service. On the third morning, there was no food. All the hot options were gone. Guests stood around with empty plates as the understaffed restaurant desperately tried to remedy things. After 20 minutes of waiting, I left and had breakfast down the road. This hotel is so bad it's laughable. Find somewhere else to stay in Paris.
