Fantastic location, a slightly quieter area of Paris but nice to come back to at the end of a days sightseeing. Compact rooms but adequate, we had a room with a patio. Breakfast was good, try to avoid the busy time 8.30-9.00 as you may end up waiting for a table. Highly recommend L’Attalier Rome across the road for dinner.

First time in Paris and needed a hotel near St Lazare to eventually get to Le Havre. The hotel was near about 4 different subway lines. Though not as quaint as most other areas of Paris it suited our needs having a grocery store and a couple of bistros near by. We loved the breakfast especially the juice machine. Although the same everyday we never got bored with it. We also enjoyed the free sparking water machine and use of glass bottle. The rooms are super small. Our two 24 inch suitcases needed to stand upright and still needed to crawl over the bed to get out of the room. The bathroom was equally tiny half the size of a cruise ship bathroom. We did have a nice patio off so that made up for the size plus we only used the room to sleep.

Dear Mr A. Your initial reservation was at another hotel. You had booked at the Ibis Saint Nazaire. At no point did our hotel charge you for the first night. You chose to stay at our hotel. We informed you of our rates as well as the additional charge for breakfast for the person who joined you. Upon your arrival, I was present, and we did everything we could to assist you. You also spent a long time on the phone with Accor customer service. Regarding the air conditioning, it will only be operational at the end of April, as is the case in most 3-star hotels in Paris. Centrally located. Short walk to trains (but we took UBER or walked). Friendly staff. Nice breakfast with freshly squeezed orange juice. Lounge has water dispenser, great to hydrate. Room a tad small but well equipped with AC/heater. Downside - only English TV being the boring BBC. RECOMMENDED.

Having never been to Paris (let alone Europe!) before, I wasn't really sure where to stay so I was mainly searching based on brands I recognised for some level of quality, and price. I stumbled upon the Ibis Styles Paris Gare Saint Lazare while browsing the Accor ALL website and after looking at its location, thought it would be an ideal stay for my first stop in Paris. Needless to say I was very impressed with this hotel! The hotel appears to be three separate buildings joined together at the ground floor (there's three elevators that go to separate parts of the hotel), so you'll need to make sure you use the correct elevator as if you use the wrong one, you'll have to go down to the ground floor and go up again at the correct elevator. The rooms are small, but from my understanding in Paris small rooms are the standard unless you are paying an absolute fortune. But the bed was incredibly comfortable - I slept very well for my two nights there, and not just because I was jetlagged from flying in from Australia! The bathroom was nice, but the shower was small, and I didn't much care for the shower curtain. Liquid hand soap was provided in the bathroom (hooray!); however, it was an all-in-one product that was a body wash and shampoo too, so it was also provided in the shower. The daily breakfast was lovely, with an assortment of pastries, breads, cold cuts, yoghurts and fruits alongside tea, machines for coffee and a fresh orange juice squeezing machine. All the staff I met were friendly (and tolerated my horrible, horrible French but were more than happy to switch to English!) One thing I loved about this hotel and wished that more hotels did was that there was in the lobby a water coolerilter, and at check in I was offered a reusable glass bottle to fill from here. This is a great idea, as it meant that I didn't have to buy my own bottled water (or drink bathroom tap water which I always find a bit disgusting to do!). There was also a kettle, tea and coffee selections, cups and a microwave in the lobby for guests to use at their leisure. The hotel is in a great location - the Europe metro station is the closest (about two minutes' walk away but is stairs only - no escalator or elevator), with the Saint Lazare metro (escalator entrance and exit) and mainline station being about five or so minutes away, and Villiers (which has an escalator exit) and Rome (stairs only) metro stations each being about 6-7 minutes' walk away. There are several supermarkets nearby, as well as some lovely bakeries and various restaurants (I never partook in these). I was very happy with my stay here and would happily consider staying here again in the future!
