Perfect spot in our favorite Paris neighborhood

If you love the Montmartre area of Paris as we do, you will love this place. It’s a moderate size hotel whose rooms each have a little kitchenette. Kudos first to the staff: Roman (not sure of spelling) spoke fluent English and was very tolerant of my French too - he was tremendously helpful and so friendly! Other staff also was great. They have loaner items you can borrow from their lobby “library” for your room - things like vacuums, different kinds of coffee makers, etc. The kitchenettes have a sink, mini fridge and mini dishwasher. They are supplied with soap, sponges dish towels etc. The room had a small round table for eating and two chairs as well. The bed was ample in size and comfortable. Our large window opened onto a neighborhood street and we enjoyed looking out on life below. The hotel is in an area that has always had a artsy, edgy feel and it can in some places feel borderline sketchy but we never felt unsafe. We love Montmartre. The hotel is near the landmark Sacré Coeur cathedral, the Dali Museum and other Paris landmarks and it’s easy to get all over the city. Three Metro stations are within walking distance. And there were tons of restaurants and a wonderful boulangerie nearby. The staff recommended two restaurants and both were reasonably priced, friendly and delicious. We love Paris, we loved this stay and we hope to be back! We are an older couple btw.

As an Aparthotel these were the largest rooms I've ever had in 20+ trips to Paris. Great location with métro lines 2 and 12 within 5 mins walking time, line 4 app. 8 mins away, funiculaire to Sacré-Coeur around the corner. A huge number of restaurants in easy walking distance, many very touristy and best to be avoided, but also many good ones. Very friendly staff. We were there 20 days during the Summer Olympics (7 people), rate was reasonable, booked through the Organising Commitee, don't know if this is the regular rate. All in all, a very pleasant experience.

Positive - Room: nice and well equipped - Location: it being in Montmartre means you have plenty of options for night activities. It's also close to a few metro stops, which is convenient. Neutral - The service: although the staff is very friendly, there's usually only one person around, at the front-desk, which is usually deserted at nights. Negative - The door is always closed. You need a four-digit password which changes periodically. If you don't have the new one when you get back, you can ring the bell and they'll buzz you in. However, as I mentioned before, there's usually no one around at night. So remember to ask if they changed the password every day when heading out.

A great place in a perfect location for the Montmartre area, close to a couple of metro stations. The room was really spacious with a small but fully stocked kitchen area, and a roomy bathroom. There was a good size wardrobe with a easy to use safe.
