Dear Madam, Dear Sir, On behalf of the entire team at Mercure Paris Opéra Spa, please accept our most sincere apologies for the unfortunate incident that occurred in your room. We completely understand the sentimental and personal value these wine bottles held for you. Carefully chosen throughout your stay and meant to be preserved as meaningful keepsakes. We are truly sorry that one of our housekeeping staff mistakenly discarded them. Please be assured that this was in no way intentional and does not reflect the level of care and respect we strive to provide for our guests. We understand how upsetting this must be, especially given your passion for wine and your dedication to collecting labels as part of your journey. For this reason, as soon as you brought this matter to our attention, our entire team immediately mobilized to correct the error. We were able to successfully retrieve four out of the six bottles, and we have purchased the two missing ones. It was important to us to do everything possible to make up for this mistake. We have since had the opportunity to speak with you about the situation, and we are truly pleased to know that you were satisfied with our responsiveness and the solution we provided. We sincerely hope you enjoyed your time in Paris, and that the rest of your journey through Italy is going wonderfully — especially your visit to Franciacorta, which we’re sure will be filled with memorable wine discoveries. We are very happy to read that our location, our comfortable room, our breakfast and especially our friendly and helpful staff made your stay enjoyable. It is always encouraging to hear that guests are satisfied with our service because that is what we strive for every day. We are sorry to hear that the lighting in your room does not meet your expectations. Please note that we have other rooms overlooking the Saint-Lazare train station and the street that may better suit your needs. Regarding the hangers, you can ask the reception to bring more.
