Location, room keeping, breakfast and waitering staffs are great and welcoming. The only feedback would be the front desk staff (only a couple of them) which did not live up to the hospitality I have had with Accor's standard worldwide.

I am extremely grateful to the staff at the Mercure Bologna for allowing me to check in very early. I was very sick, which is not what you want when traveling and they allowed me to check in well before a normal check-in time. I really appreciate their efforts. It is a beautiful hotel with a wonderful bar and garden. I hope to come back in future when I’m feeling better to take better advantage.

The hotel was perfect for a three night stay in Bologna. Located near the station, getting in and out of town was easy. The center of town was a pleasant walk away. The staff was very welcoming and always accommodating our needs and requests. I highly recommend the hotel !

Our room Nr. 111 did not correspond to the room I booked and to the description in your confirmation email. "Do enjoy a comfortable bed in a uniquely elegant setting". The room was neither elegant nor comfortable. It was very small. There was only 1 chair in the room so just one of us could sit. The mattress in the bed was so hard that we got back pain. The bath was tiny. The grout in the showers was dirty and looked moldy. My wife and I didn´t like shower in it. That is why we decided to check out the next morning.

My daughter's headphones went missing from our room. She left them on her bedside table when we left in the morning and they were not there when we returned. When I reported this to the front desk attendant, he was extremely rude and dismissive and told me that we must have misplaced them in the bedding. When I calmly reassured him that we had checked the room thoroughly and they were not in the bedding, he continued to interrupt me and speak over me. My daughter was standing beside me at the time and I decided not to continue the conversation given his tone, and I did not wish for her to experience the confrontation any further as he was basically gaslighting us. There was no follow-up and my complaint was not noted. Overall the hotel was lovely and the other staff were kind and polite, but I have not experienced this level of rudeness from a staff member in a hotel before.

We had a great stay at this hotel, the room was upgraded for us and it was beautiful ample room for 2 people. Also we forgot something in the room and they guided us in how to send it to our next hotel, even preparing the package the same say for delivery.
