All we really want to say is… hotel was fine. As expected. We’ve stayed before. Location good for onward road travel north / south. Not for proximity to centre. Food was “ok”. Wife’s fish was really quite small / fairly tasteless. My burger was ok. So in summary for hotel / food, fine. But… Staff. 2 out of 3 we spoke to were perfectly nice. As one would expect. 1 was not. She was our main waitress. In short on first contact we both felt she was “grumpy” and had “attitude”. Fyi we spoke in Spanish. For the other 2, (seemed to be the main check in staff) nothing was too much trouble. For the 1, she made everything seem too much trouble, at each point of contact with us. Which they were several during the drinks / main & desert courses. Look this isn’t a complaint. It’s more a “you should know”. Maybe there was a reason she seemed to not be having a good day. Maybe she doesn’t see how she comes across. I’m sure if you need to you could id the waitress. I’d say she was the younger of the 3 front of house on duty when we ate our meal. For me / us having been members for some time and stays sufficiently often to offer a breadth of experience… 1 out of 3 staff was not how we’ve used to Accors generally high standards of service.

Hotel provided good facilities just outside the town centre. It had everything we needed for a nights stay included a restaurant to eat in the evening. Close to the major motorway networks in Spain.

Great location for travellers, easy to find. Great staff and service. We use it travelling between Santander and our house( and vv) in silver coast in Portugal.Its very dog friendly, to the extent the receptionist welcomed our border collie before us!

We have visited twice now and the stay has been good both times. We requested the same room and was happy as it was comfortable and good for managing at our ages. The staff are very helpful and the breakfast is plentiful. Will be booking again for next year.

Came for the Total Eclipse and found the Ibis well located to the major routes. Within 3 minutes you can be out on the motorways heading north, south, east or west. The hotel is lovely and clean and offered a great breakfast every morning. The Staff are all lovely as well which made for a very enjoyable few days.

We booked for the eclipse. Not my first choice of locations but they had availability. My expectations were not high but the place was great. Yes they are basic rooms nothing fancy but we had loads of parking space, they made us feel so welcome and provided everything we needed so I couldn't expect more.

The rooms are very simple but have what you need. Everything was very clean and had no complaints. The location is a bit far from the main areas but there is a bus and they can call a taxi for you.

All staff very welcoming and friendly. The location just off the motorway and easy parking in front of the Hotel helped my initial choice. The comfortable reception area enabled me to easily log on to the internet and deal with some urgent emails. The restaurant accommodated my early arrival at 19.15 (even though it didn't open until 19.30hrs!). Well done to everyone at this venue 5* to you all! Will stay again on my next drive from Santander to Marbella!
