I had an extremely disappointing experience at Hotel Grand Mercure Vadodara Surya Palace, and I would strongly advise others to think twice before staying here. The service is very poor, and the staff is completely uncooperative. Basic requests are either ignored or handled with a careless attitude, which makes the stay frustrating from the beginning. Hospitality seems to be missing entirely. The biggest concern is the lack of hygiene in food. On multiple occasions, I found mosquitoes, flies, and even hairs in the fruits—this happened at least four times. It clearly shows a complete disregard for cleanliness and food safety. To make matters worse, stale (basi) food and fruits were served repeatedly, which is unacceptable for any hotel. Room conditions are also disappointing. Many rooms lack proper natural lighting, making the environment dull and uncomfortable. On top of that, the cleaning standards are far below expectations. Rooms are not maintained properly, and overall cleanliness is simply not up to the mark. Overall, this was a very unpleasant experience, and I would not recommend this hotel to anyone looking for even basic comfort and hygiene.

Stay was good but please note that the chair in the room was not ergonomic. It was not comfortable to work while being in the hotel room using that chair. Same was indicated to the hotel receptionist also during the check out process. Also, kindly try to keep some swimming costume so that we can use the swimming pool facility. otherwise, the stay was comfortable
