Frontdesk Staff could be more polite

When we arrived at the hotel around 10 PM, there was a shift change at the front desk, so we had to wait about five minutes for the new receptionist to arrive. Unfortunately, he was neither welcoming nor particularly polite. After checking in, we decided to visit the bar, but the staff informed us that it was closed. Returning to the front desk, we noticed a fridge with its door open, so we took four beers and asked the receptionist to charge them to our room. Although he wasn’t in a great mood and mentioned that the fridge should have been locked, he did charge us for the beers, and we were able to take them to our room.
