situation and rooms very nice. 1 person only at reception and on the telephone for booking is sometimes not enough and can lead to long waiting time (despite all her efforts). Breakfast very good and qualitative. Unfortunately, only 1 small expresso machine available is too little and leads to long waiting time to have a coffee.

Unfortunately, at some specific moments there are several situations to handle in reception. We are making our best to improve on this matter. As for the nespresso machine, this latter replaced for a few days our professional coffee machine, which brokedown during your stay. Fortunately, it has been repared. Our hotels are always chosen for two things - dog-friendly and good parking - everything else has become a bonus. The Mercure Grand Hotel Metz had every bonus we could have sought. From easy check-in, to lovely room, excellent breakfast buffet, to great location, we felt we had really struck the jackpot. The friendliness of the staff together with local knowledge was super.

A very warm and friendly welcome and an extremely well located hotel for visiting Metz - we will definitely come back and stay again. All of the staff were so helpful and the room was clean and comfortable.

Very pleasant hotel in a converted landmark building. The room was very well laid out and designed, internet was strong and the bathrooms very clean and stylish. It was the helpful and kind staff; Ugo and Thibault that made the stay all the better and we will be back soon.

The room had carpet floor instead of wood. I’m allergic to it. This is problematic because the pictures didn’t show carpet floor and it’s one of the reasons why I chose the hotel. Also on rooms on the street are extremely noisy. Finally the overall design of the room was dated.

Nous avons bien des chambres sans moquettes, pourquoi n'avez-vous pas demander à en avoir une dès lors que vous aviez remarqué que celle que nous vous avions attribué ne convenait pas à vos attentes? Comment avez-vous pu entendre le bruit de la rue depuis votre chambre alors que celle-ci donne littéralement à l'opposé et sur notre cour intérieure..? Concernant votre opinion de la chambre, les goûts et les couleurs ça ne se discute pas trop, mais tout de même, dire que notre chambre est démodée, elles ont toutes été rénovées en mai 2022. Nous avons fait appel à un cabinet d'architecte qui a su mélanger le côté moderne et la charme de l'histoire de ce bâtiment plus vieux que vous et moi. Bien à vous. Thibaud.
