Nice hotel, but the locked main entrance door to the hotel after 12pm is not appreciated, it made me feel like at a supervised student camp :)

First overnight stay in Montpellier / La Grande Motte. I found the hotel on google map and liked the private location and the reasonable room prices. The Novotel chain is a familiar hotel group. We appreciated the gated parking area since we were traveling for over a week in southern France. The hotel room was nice and clean but the "bedside tables" were tiny with hardly room enough to place anything. Some may miss a refrigerator, especially if they stay several days. Everybody at the reception desk and at breakfast was extremely friendly and helpful. We definitely plan to come back another time.
