Modern, very nice ground floor with reception, bar and restaurant. Spacious rooms with a very nice view on the city center; the parking space just below the hotel is very convenient but it is not cheap. Breakfast was good but there were not so many options; compared to other mercure and novotels there were no Nespresso machines in the rooms nor in the breakfast hall (just plain coffee). Rooms were too hot during the night, and it was not possible to turn the heating down.

Poor customer service. Though website says check in at 2pm., they were arguing that it is only at 3pm and argued that it is available at their website. Not a friendly staff at reception (atleast the one to whom we spoke to)

Mattress without comfortable sleeping

The mattress without adequate support causes me unsleeping whole nigh and it is obviously only 90cm in width less than the regular size in other 4-star hotels! Comparing to Novotel in Avignon, here is uncomfortable experience and I will be aware of Novotel service level given by poor mattress and prefer to choose other alternative hotels during booking room if available in same area!

We went for the easter weekend. The hotel was really nice to organize an egg hunt for the kids. The location of the hotel is superb and the rooms were fine. The only thing is that the so we need it more pressure.

Kept me awake the first night I stayed in hotel on March 26th. This affected my performance ar work on the Wednesday. I changed room for thar second night. I expect some compensation and if not, I'd like to apply to a higher organisation and will not use NOVOTEL again. I used to work at the hotel chain in the UK while at college and expect standards to be better to be honest Yours sincerely Sean B. BSc Hons
