We booked this beautiful Parisian’s hotel because of the classic architecture. Photos from the website look good. And yes it is just as good as the pictures in real. Warm and cosy overall, reception to room. We like the fact that it’s coming back to a beautiful home. Paola, the receptionist is simply outstanding. She made us feel welcome and at the same time with professionalism. And always a beautiful smile. To our surprise, we were upgraded because they found out that we were here in Paris to celebrate our wedding anniversary. Even on the actual day itself, we came returned to our room with be welcomed with a gorgeous bouquet of flowers. It’s classy, we thought. We are used to staying at 5 * hotels. However, this time we chose this due to its close location to Gare de Lyon. ( 5 mins walk) and for it’s s smaller scale. Cafes, bars, and restaurants surrounded the area. A big thank you to the staffs and management for giving a wonderful home away from home. Another note: We checked out early on the last day and had our bags stored for end of the day. On returning, the gentleman at the reception ( sorry that I didn’t get his name), saw that we looked exhausted (after a full walking day), quickly brought us a bottle of water. That’s perfect hospitality, we thought. Overall, we more than recommend this esteemed hotel.

I was there only two nights, arriving directly after my long flights. I was checked in early, upgraded and in my room within five minutes of entering the hotel. I slept away my jet lag and had a very tasty breakfast the following morning. Thank you to the lovely woman in charge of the breakfast. The hotel has a very attractive and comfortable sitting area and small bar. The hotel is very quiet and the bed bed was very comfortable. I discovered that the neighborhood is very quaint, with lots of little cafes and a couple grocery stores. Also, only minutes from the Seine and the Jardin des Plantes. I should have stayed longer.
