I was a bit perturbed at being told my car park was only available until midday, then later told it was 5pm. But I didn't check in till 7pm Sat and thought I'd paid for 24hrs parking.

All of the staff we encountered at the hotel were absolutely wonderful and could not have done more to accommodate us. The room was comfortable with a really modern bathroom (fantastic shower). The room was a bit dated and needed freshening up as there were marks on the walls and stains on the carpets. The furniture was also a bit worn in places. Our room wasn't serviced during the day (despite putting the sign up) which was a shame as we were left without more coffee pods/biscuits/dry towels, but reception were really quick to accommodate when we went down to ask for these things.
