Booking and checking in was fine. Friendly receptionist. We rushed out for our meal so we didn’t realise until later that in one bedroom the toilet didn’t flush at all and the one in the other room made noises like a sad old dog all the time as the flush was trickling and some pump kept groaning!! Fortunately we had ear plugs. The bathroom could do with a good dose of bleach around the edges!! The accommodation is budget so obviously basic and the bed and linen was fine and it does have ensuite. It’s ok for an overnight stop off but the plumbing does need sorting!

Simple hotel, but old!

The + The hotel has a nice safe parking (closed by a fence requiring a code to enter). You get a 3 bed room for the price of a double room, which is nice. The - The hotel is old and would require some improvements. To my great surprise there isn't any lift. It wasn't a mega problem however we arrived in the night, with a baby and many bags/luggage/... It would have been great if this was put in the highlight on the website so we wouldn't have that surprise upon arrival, and would have planed ahead to restrict our luggages to avoid to go pick them up twice downstairs. Also when we arrive to our room around 2 am, the window was wide open and no Hester on. We were in February! So still in winter! Our baby was really cold and after a few minutes we noticed an self standing radiator and quickly realized that the ''nirmal'' heater in the room didn't work do they supplied this device. The device was extremely old and the control board broken. We could literally see the cables inside, so one bad love and you get electrified! The cable was so short that in order to plug it, we had to put it on a chair so it wouldn't be standing near our face (where the other plug it could be plugged to was placed). The overal experience was disappointing.

We did stay at the IBIS Budget with two rooms on our way for a skiing holiday. The hotel is easily located close the A31 motorway. It is a rather old one and needs a renovation. Everything you can expect in a IBIS budget is there but a bit worn-out. In one of the rooms the smell of sigaret smoke could be noticed. The smoking guest is to blame but it is not nice. The beds and breakfast were good and the personnel friendly and helpful
