Nice place to stay for a visit, plumbing wants fixing and I was disappointed with the disposable cardboard cup that we had to use for either tea or water.

In Europe, I’ve always found Mercure a cut above Novotel and Ibis. Some of the ones I’ve stayed in are genuinely brilliant. This is about as 4 star as I am a ballet dancer. £277 a night and the place just looks run down. Bar closed, no sign of a restaurant. Just a barren, lifeless hotel. Which is fine, but not at £277 a night and that’s the Accor price. To be fair they upgraded me, which I appreciated but this hotel is poor. Disappointed

Centro is a fabulous location. The breakfast option is not recommended as it is just a voucher to eat at a restaurant beside the hotel and they treat hotel voucher customers like second class customers. The parking is 10 minutes away from the hotel.

Very good and clean room - very attentive lady to take care of room - but very bad breakfast service - in another location - best to book room without breakfast. Unfortunately, no English TV Channels, for News, even after checking with Reception people.

Located right next to the metro at Porta Venezia it is an excellent base for geeting around Milan to the tourist sights
