Ideal lodging when arriving by train from Paris. Rooms are tiny, but seemed larger than those in Paris. Very clean. The opposite train station has an adjacent enormous Carrefour for take-out meals (which IBIS reception will heat for you in their microwaves, because there is no on-site restaurant other than breakfast buffet). Short walk to center of old Orleans, cathedral, etc. In old Orleans, "La Petite Absinthe" is a wonderful creperie that also has real absinthe-based drinks served in a unique drip-style, etc. Essentially, Orleans is a wonderful and much cleaner place than Paris.

I had a quick check in. The room was quiet and dark even though it was next to the train tracks. It was quite stuffy however and the Air conditioning was not working. The shower could also stand some deep cleaning and smelled of mildew.

We are sincerly sorry our services did not meet your expectation. As for the Air conditionning, it does not work because we are not in a good season to put it on. Actually the weather is still cold in the night. Beside we can not change our system from heat to cold instantly. However we regret for not having seen you during your stay, because we could have given you a fan. As for the cleaning of the shower, we will transfer your impression quickly to our colleagues in the rooms and do the necessary. Best regards, Ibis Orléans Centre Gare Team

Could not fault staff very helpful lovely breakfast shame view from window was just the air con unit for whole hotel also no mention of charge for car parking on booking
