Needed a hotel for one night stay in Melbourne. I was arriving at property late and leaving early so my requirements were just a clean room, nice bed and a decent shower. The Ibis delivered on all of these. If you are travelling for the same type of trip, then I would recommend. If you are staying for longer, or anticipate spending a lot of time in the room, then I would consider elsewhere as the rooms are not that large.

The staff were friendly, helpful and well presented. The standard of the facility was excellent and was great value. The location was an easy short walk to Bourke Street Mall, trams and Melbourne Central including train station. I would be happy to stay here again.

I am glad that the hotel has rid of the $100 deposit required at check in that was required during my stay last year (which had lead to issues with refund of deposit after check out)
