The most relevant criteria for a good city hotel is location. On this subject the Ibis at Dalestreet marks all the points. Additionally the whole Stuff exceeds the expectations regarding hospitality and kindness. The rooms are clean and the beds comfy. A few minor flaws: can't open windows, air-conditioning not working (not a problem in early may)

This is the third time I’ve stayed here and it hasn’t disappointed. The rooms are clean and fresh, the staff are friendly and helpful and the breakfasts are always outstanding. Location is great for city centre. Can’t recommend it highly enough.

Stayed here 3 times now and will recommend to anyone. Not the cheapest in Liverpool but when you take into account the location, cheap car parking and a very comfy bed it's certainly worth the money. Upgraded to a premium room last stay and definitely worth the extra few £££. Much more room, nice coffee machine, dressing gowns and iron all in the room and lot more space to spread out and relax.
