I made a reservation and paid for a double room for 2 people (me and my wife) from 24/4 to 28/4. I came to Strasbourg to participate at a medical congress and my wife was going to join me. Unfortunately, she could not come the first 2 days due to family problems. She could come on the 26/4 late night. When I arrive to the hotel on the 24/4 I asked the people of the reception to give me a single room and cancel my wife's breakfast of the first 2 days. The answered that could not change room and will discuss with the manager concerning the breakfasts. I asked a couple of time more during the following days and their answer was vague. On the 27/4, one of young woman at the recpetion told me that she discussed it with the manager and everything was solved. I understood that I would receive a refunding. Unfortunately, during the check out, they just refunded me 5 euros (taxes). This is not what I expect form a 4 stars hotel having paid in advance 1353 Euros!!!!

Prettier than it's pictures, McGallery Cour du Corbeau is perfectly located near the Cathedral and in easy walking distance to all that Strasbourg has to offer. Lovely room and furnishings and we had the delicious breakfast (with eggs cooked to order) included. Everyone was helpful and friendly and in particular, the morning dining staff was delightful.
