Amenities are lacking (e.g. slippers, lotion, toothbrush) and needs to be asked from reception/front desk that can be moody based on shift. The front desk manager was needed to fulfill requests. Response to request if you’re not french was “only for privilege members”!

Very convenient for quick access to Gare Part-Dieu, it offers all that you would expect of a Mercure. Room 916 was a spacious, comfortable and well-equipped room with separate bathroom and toilet. The restaurant was of a high standard and offered a good choice of dishes at the buffet breakfast. The staff were efficient and helpful.

Average stay, some positives, but also some important points of improvements needed.
