First time in Liverpool with our 2 grandsons. The pool was used by us. Breakfast was good if the same each day. Staff were helpful and very friendly.

A pleasant weekend stay in a well-appointed room with excellent breakfasts and nearby parking. We could walk to the main shopping areas and art galleries with the option of escaping by car to enjoy the scenery of the Wirral. Also close to the stations in oder to use the excellent local transport network.

Hotel in a great spot. Close to everything. Hotel and amenities were brilliant great little pool kept my little boy entertained for a while on the evening. Only downside I rang and explained we left charger for my sons IPAD but it was”wasn’t” there. Would definitely return.

The location of this hotel is fantastic. We were only ever a 5-10 minute walk from any attraction we wanted to see so for that this hotel gets a thumbs up from me. We booked a family room for 2 nights. We were able to check in around 1pm which was a lot better than 3pm as stated on the booking. I felt the staff could have been more friendly. I didn't get a personal touch like you do at some hotels. I felt that from the reception staff and the restaurant/bar staff. I'm not complaining about it but I'm just making an observation on how I felt my experience was. The room was on the small side with a double bed and a fold out sofa bed. The fold out bed was very small and uncomfortable according to my kids. The large double bed was comfortable so my husband and I didn't have any complaints. The cleanliness of the room was okay. The bedsheets, towels, bathroom and toilet were all clean. The carpet in the bedroom needed a good wash. I didn't like standing on the carpet in my bare feet. The hotel needs a good refurbishment as some areas look warn and old. We paid for breakfast on one of the mornings. It was GBP18.00 per adult and children go free. The breakfast was nice and I enjoyed it but I've had better in other hotels. There is a pool in this hotel which my kids loved and I enjoyed the pool and sauna. There is a pool table at the hotel bar and my little lad loved playing pool so that kept him happy. Overall, I had a fairly enjoyable experience at the Novotel Liverpool and I would return purly for the location.
