We stayed for 3 nights in room 817, supposed to be a 4 stars hotel. That was a joke. One of the bath towels had several holes, the front top corner of the sofa arm had a hole with sharp metal protruding out, nett curtin was dirty. The room was very worm with window open & air con set to minimum.

Had a fantastic 2 night stay in family room this weekend. From entry until leaving, we were welcomed, professionally and very warm from all staff! 2 adults and 1 child, more than enough space, very clean and well appointed room. Swim pool a bonus! Breakfast amazing and very good time slots and defo for the price. The bar area canny, although we only had 1 drink in there at the end of the night. The hotel is very well located and a couple of mins from main centre/attractions. We used Q park car parking next door, pre booked £30 for whole weekend but note £24 per 24hrs if you don't pre book! It's very secure/code protected. Thank you Liverpool!

Very disappointing and certainly not to the standard of any Accor Group hotel in have stayed in. First impression is it’s really tired and needs a complete refurbishment. The restaurant/ bar is dark and uninviting. The furniture was in shocking state. Service at the bar was poor as I don’t appreciate being ignored.Perhaps management would learn from the breakfast staff who were excellent. Mould on the bath tiles is completely unacceptable. Room was about Travelodge standard, or less? Lots of street noise.

WAS WITH A PARTY OF 10 STAYING OVER FRIDAY &SATURDAY ALL STAFF WERE GOOD EXCEPT THE YOUNG BAR MANAGER WHO SEEMED TO TAKE A DISLIKE TO ONE OF MY GUESTS AND REFUSED TO SERVE HIM ON BOTH OF THE NIGHTS . i QUESTIONED YOUR BAR STAFF MANAGER ABOUT THIS AND HE HAD SAID THAT MY GUEST HAD MADE AN INAPPROPRIATE REMARK TO ONE OF HIS STAFF ON THE FRIDAY NIGHT AND MY GUEST ASSURED MYSELF AND THAT HE HAD APOLOGISED TO HIM ON BEHALF OF HIS STAFF MEMBER IF SHE THOUGHT IT WAS OFFENSIVE IT WAS NOT MEANT TO BE AND TOTALLY TAKEN OUT OF CONTEXT . i WAS UNAWARE THAT HE HAD TAKEN THE STANCE NOT TO SERVE HIM ON THE SATURDAY NIGHT ALSO AND I ASKED TO SPEAK TO THE DUTY MANAGER WHO IN TURN WITH A COLLEAGUE BY HIS SIDE WAS ALSO NOT INTERESTED IN DOING ANYTHING ABOUT IT LEAVING ONE OF MY GUESTS IN SHOCK AND EXTREMELY ANGRY FOR THERE STANCE . THIS SHOULD HAVE BEEN HIGHLIGHTED TO MYSELF ON THE SATURDAY MORNING TO DIFFUSE THE SITUATION AND CLEAR THE AIR AS I HAD SAID TO YOUR DUTY MANAGER AGAIN HE WAS NOT INTERESTED AS WITH YOU BAR MANAGER AND I AM OF THE OPINION IT WAS A PERSONNEL VENDETTA AGAINST MY GUEST AND YOUR MANAGEMENT WERE TOTALLY INCOMPETENT IN HANDLING THIS SITUATION. i AM EXTREMELY DISAPPOINTED AS I HAD SPENT IN EXCESS OF £3000.00 FOR MY GUESTS STAY AND WILL HAVE RESERVATIONS ABOUT STAYING AGAIN. Dear Mr h., Thank you for sharing your comments and I am sorry that this issue hasn’t been diffused on Saturday morning, as you are mentioning. I understand that my Food and Beverage Manager was not able to contact you on Saturday as all your rooms were under your name and therefore was not able to identify you directly at this stage. I did call Mr Gavin on Monday and despite that he certainly did not mean to be rude toward my team, unfortunately the received communication by my staff was not in line with his intention. As I said to Mr Gavin, we are all working in hospitality industry and any racial / sexual / homophobic communication should not have taken place at any moments toward any of them. That would have avoided the outcome and everybody would have been able to enjoy a peaceful moment with friends and colleague. I understand that you are also a professional in the industry and you would also have a zero tolerance policy for inappropriate behaviour toward your team. Again, I am sorry for the outcome, but you would appreciate that this inappropriate behaviour should never have started. Thank you for your understanding and apologies for any inconvenience. Someone Friends - Confirmed reviews ALL

The hotel was clean and well maintained, the staff pleasant. However, the room was too warm, with the air conditioning too noisy and largely ineffective. Bearing mind its location, it wasn't possible to open the window, as the 'activity' outside also made if difficult to sleep
