We stopped at the Ibis budget for the first bank holiday weekend in May. We were going on a party cruise with OSN radio on the Saturday. The location was perfect. And a short taxi ride from.picadilly and we were there. Very clean modern hotel, the reception staff were polite and helpful. OK the rooms were small, but there were clean and comfortable with included air-conditioning if required and free WiFi. The shower was clean, hot and lovely. The next time we go upto manchester we won't hesitate to use again. And we thank you for your hospitality. Give it a go! U won't be dissapoinyed.

Most of the staff are friendly, room basic but at the price that's what you expect but it was clean. I do like a cup of tea and the boiling water from the machine was free but when I went to make myself a cup of tea one of the staff near took a fit... apparently it's £1.90 for a teabag!! So I went to the garage next door to the hotel and bought 40 teabags for £1.90 and every time I walked past the reception towards the machine I got looked at so had to wave a teabag at them. But overall not a bad hotel.

Good location for where we had to get to

Lovely staff. Beds were horrible. 2 smaller than single beds in a small room. Was like lying on a concrete floor. Didn't get much sleep because of the bed. Need new mattress and beds. Stayed here about 8 years ago in a bigger room with a bit more comfortable beds. Not really a budget hotel for the price we paid for the room we got.
