The young lady at reception was pleasant but had a cold and kept sniffling the whole time during checkin which was quite unpleasant. The room was very noisy with construction going on in the hotel during the day and out on the streets very early in the morning. There was often a long wait for the lift. There is no usb point in the room to charge your phone. The buffet breakfast was thoroughly enjoyable except that the food and dining were in separate rooms. Coffee was terrible.

I had a good stay but perhaps they should have closed the hotel while refurbishing … the hotel was greatly impacted.
